New private message on project I DID purchase a twin-to-king trundle bed for the space and have included a photo with dimensions of it so it can be worked into the layout as a final item. The other final item is the coffee table.

New private message on project Hi Kristell – my friend Nichole and I have refined the layout even more! We went up to the loft in person to move around in it and see exactly how far I can walk toward the sloped ceiling before hitting my head and how close I’d be able to turn around and sit without hitting my head as well – also desk/bookshelf heights as they require even less runway since they don’t involve my head :) THE WALKABLE SPACE IS MUCH NARROWER due to head height – and reduces from there – you’ll see what we hope is a very logical depiction of this on the drawings. Nichole drew the layout and perspectives on graph paper with each square equaling 1 foot (12 inches). ***Check out the window layout for the SOUTH wall – I love it and am totally on board with it as final…but still on the fence about the window layout for the NORTH wall – either yours or Nichole’s may work…but it will inevitably be determined by the type of middle window/door I am able to find in the marketplace.

New private message on project Hi Ed. I appreciate your message, and I’d like to receive a new estimate so I can decide on which way to continue .. It’s a special place, so we’d like to create a nice house to stay there. Thanks for your attention.

New private message on project Hey Kristell, I’m thinking lets ditch the 3/4 wall for now and see what this looks like with the clear glass, no glazing. I don’t want it to feel to corporate or strange! We’ll add the slider, bigger doors where the current front door is.Then we’ll have two pretty awesome rooms

New private message on project Hey thats really cool! Great idea! do you know if there’s a way to make those windows more private (for instance during a meeting or at nighttime for our guests if they were staying there? Can you send me a link to research those more? One of those rooms will primarily be our ‘office’ which will probably be the space thats currently the guest room. Then the new guest / bedroom will be the other room thats the completely new where the stairs are removed. that would be more likely a proper guest room

New private message on project I’d like MAXIMUM light and window usage on the South wall – but a more traditional/cottage look to match the aesthetic of the rest of that side of the house. See attached photo of the existing windows on a different part of the house that also face South. (The North wall windows can stay open and modern as you have it).

New private message on project Would you be able to put in one LARGE window on the South Wall with a side panel window on each side of it? (I think right now you have a long narrow window with a small window above?)
