Our client had been dreaming of converting their new suburban property into a dream home with open-plan living space, plenty of natural light, and a space to entertain guests outside. He asked BetterSpace to carry out some significant changes to his house, including resizing the bathrooms, removing the wall between the kitchen and living room, and adding skylights.

Our architect took on the challenge and started the project with a clear vision in mind. She planned a complete redesign of both bathrooms, making the master bathroom larger and reducing the size of the guest bathroom from two wash basins to one. This would allow more space for storage, which was one of Preetesh's goals.

The living room and kitchen were also completely reworked. We removed the wall that separated the two spaces, creating a bright and airy open-plan layout. To accommodate the refrigerator and other items that were previously placed against the wall, we created a clever storage solution, ensuring that every inch of space was utilised.

We added new skylights to the living and kitchen areas to provide more natural light. The new skylights not only added natural light but also gave the space a modern and stylish look.

For a final touch, we redesigned the fireplace, replacing it with a modern, fake-lighted fireplace. The result was a stunning new space that exceeded our client's expectations.
